Five stages to review when specifying your camper. Construction and equipment details vary by model and agreed configuration.
All current Ecocampor RV chassis use robotic welding. Watch the factory footage to see the welding cell and a close-up of the finished welds.

The body frame defines the living space, openings and roof arrangement. Fixed-roof, pop-up and slide-out models require different construction and clearance checks.

Review panel construction, insulation and seals for the selected model. For pop-up campers, include the lifting mechanism and raised-roof enclosure in the specification.

Beds, seating, storage and kitchen equipment are arranged around the floor plan. Confirm access and usable space with the roof or slide-outs in their operating positions.

Review installed electrical and water equipment, roof operation and model-specific fittings. Confirm inspection records, mounting instructions and handover information before delivery.

Share the truck make, model, model year, bed length and interior dimensions, wheel-arch spacing and cab height, together with its payload and camper-loading information. Compare these with the selected camper drawing and mounting requirements before ordering; a truck model name alone does not establish compatibility.
Use the camper weight for the specified equipment, then account for water, batteries, gas, luggage, passengers and other carried loads. Check the vehicle manufacturer’s payload, gross vehicle and axle limits, and camper centre-of-gravity guidance. Dry camper weight or the truck’s towing capacity alone is not sufficient.
A pop-up camper has a roof that lowers for travel and raises at camp. A hard-side camper has a fixed-height body. Compare travel height, setup steps, interior space, insulation and the actual equipped weight of each model when choosing a range for your market.
This range includes truck-bed and tray camper models. Fitment depends on the pickup bed or tray dimensions, support surfaces, cab clearance and mounting arrangement. Send the vehicle or tray drawing so the appropriate configuration can be reviewed before you finalise a model.
The mounting arrangement must match both the camper and the specific truck or tray. Confirm tie-down or mounting points, hardware, support requirements and installation instructions for the selected combination. Have a qualified installer check fitment and follow the vehicle and mounting-system manufacturer’s instructions.
Send your preferred model, target vehicles and requirements for sleeping space, storage, cooking, bathroom facilities, power systems and branding. Ecocampor can review OEM requirements and confirm feasible options, weight implications and pricing for the agreed configuration. Availability varies by model.
Request a model-specific equipment list covering battery capacity, charging inputs, solar options, electrical supply, fresh and waste water capacity and installed appliances. Separate standard equipment from options and include their weight and space requirements in the vehicle-matching review.
Provide the destination country and intended vehicle configuration when enquiring. Confirm the applicable camper, installation, electrical, gas and import documentation requirements with qualified local advisers, and ask which documents are available for the selected model. Requirements differ by market and configuration.
